Pictures of Final Project

Package Design: Visit Nepal Product Images

My Items:
1. Lakhey Masks
2. Holy Water Vase
3. Incense Vase
4. Calendar + Package
5. Wheel and Stick
6. Signage
7. Lantern
8. Brief

(1) The Lakhey Mask:
The masks, according to our culture is supposed to be demonic. A person usually
dresses up like a demon and dances crazily to scare off real evil. It is said that
these figures are the protectors of children.

(2) Vases:

(2) This is (say) Holy Vase. It has two small holes on its side. It is filled with holy water and
shaken around to let water escape through the sides, spraying people with blessings.

(3) This is another vase design. It is (here) used to hold incenses towards the holy figures.

(4) This is package design for a calendar holder/dispenser:
To the left is a design of Nepal's attractions. To the right are the eyes of Buddha,
Lord Swayambhunath himself. On the back it features the writings of Visit Nepal and color scheme as it matches the calendars it holds within. In the front side, it has an image of the
Famous 5 storied Krishna Temple or the Natpol Palace. On the very top we have the two Khukuri crosses, with the Sun and the Moon and the OM sign.
The package holds a calendar with the same three images as its package and
features the days and dates of the Year 2012 in both English and Nepali for the upcoming year.

(5) Wheel and Stick:
This little device is a toy from my childhood. It doesn't need to be from a branded
company, as most children would make a wheel and a hook on a stick to maneuver
and play with it.

(6) The Signage:
After our trip to the 'Scenic Corporation', I got inspired to make something realistic for my
Project's Signage. I stuck with red/blue to represent the Royal colors of Nepal. Here, my
signage is my Logo.

(7) The Lantern:
Yes, it is a lantern without any fire or bulbs inside of it. My design features a real image, and
two outlined image in red and green on a transparent medium. Stacking these on top of each
other gives a 3D like view (just like how it works in the movies). Hanging it up and letting
gravity do the work makes it spin around and perfectly give desired the effect.

(8) The Brief:
In my brief I have included the topics of my Project.
My project, my theme (name of the project).
My goal is to target every in the world to come visit Nepal. My target is to give and share
the country and culture first hand. The mission here to captivate people and make them
fall in love with my Country. Tourism features a small note on what makes people come to
Nepal while known sections has the fact the media isn't all that is true. If you want to
experience Nepal, you have got to be there.

In the end is the collage of all items listed below.
I hope you have enjoyed my work and will surely visit My Beautiful country of Nepal.
Trust me on this one, you will not regret it.

Thank you and please do ... Visit Nepal ...

Steve promoting their team work, nice work guys.

With all students displaying their final work in the hallway, we had an awesome time. Critiquing was never hard compared to the ideas and thought floating around. All in all, I think it was another great learning moment, besides the hard staking weeks while working on this project.
